EMCOR Group, through its Midwest division of S.A. Comunale, seeks a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems at client sites.

The role includes travel to customer locations, ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and safety standards, and accurate reporting of findings. The ideal candidate will have NICET LV 1 (ITWBS) minimum, backflow license, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Formación

• NICET LV 1 (ITWBS) minimum certification required.
• Backflow license required for sprinkler inspections.
• NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 inspection experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; trades or technical training a plus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect from man lifts at elevations of 30–40 feet when needed.
• Monitor and ensure progress of all assigned inspections.
• Complete and submit inspection reports and tickets to administration promptly.
• Self-schedule daily inspections and coordinate with customers.
