Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Verisk, seeks a detail-oriented field specialist to improve community fire protection capabilities through PPC assessments. You will combine technical analysis, client partnership and on-site data collection to evaluate dispatch resources, water supply, and building information relevant to PPC.

Travel to diverse sites, perform field verifications, prepare reports, and present findings to local officials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience preferred and one year of experience in fire/property insurance, fire protection services or engineering.
• Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting for PPC assessments.
• Ability to travel and lift up to 40 lbs, climb stairs and ladders.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight/air travel.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess communications resources and PPC-related data.
• Visit sites and collect field data for PPC assessments.
• Prepare reports per corporate standards.
• Coordinate meetings with local officials and provide information as requested.
• Support Verisk products through on-site visits.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
• Maintain quality and customer service standards.
• Maintain CHM equipment and supplies.
