Job summary

Verisk Analytics, Inc. is seeking a field-focused PPC analyst to support fire departments and municipalities by analyzing communications resources, water supply, and response readiness through on-site data collection and collaborative client work.

Travel will be required as you verify studies, prepare reports, and present findings to officials while upholding Verisk standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to observe, measure, analyze, map and describe community fire protection capabilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for extended periods may be required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to conduct and document studies of dispatch resources and water systems for PPC assessments.
• Complete verifications in office and field and plan trips for timely completion of work.
• Prepare reports of hazard mitigation gradings and present findings per corporate standards.
• Assist in coordinating meetings with local officials and provide guidance as needed.
• Provide on-site customer support for Verisk products and mentor junior staff.
