Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently completed a degree in fire protection engineering, fire science, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or closely related field from an ABET-accredited college.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define the fire and life safety basis for operations and analyze buildings, equipment, processes and procedures.
• Develop/review Fire Hazard Analysis documents for TRISO-X facility operations and related processes.
• Develop/review/implement safety and compliance programs and procedures.
• Participate in Process Hazards Analysis with multidisciplinary teams.
• Consult with operations, maintenance and engineering on Fire Protection impacts of changes.
• Develop/revise and deliver Fire Protection training and postings.
