Are you looking for a technically focused fire protection role where your expertise in oil and gas makes you the go-to subject matter expert within a tight-knit, highly skilled team?

This is a small, specialized engineering group that delivers high-impact work to major players in the oil and gas sector. With a skilled team, they are looking to bring a fire protection engineer in house to drive business.

In this role, you will take the technical lead on fire hazard analyses, applying your deep understanding of oil and gas systems to identify risks and recommend protection strategies. You'll be the first licensed fire protection engineer in the team, so will play a part in supporting business development and driving long term success.

The Role

• Conducting fire hazard analysis and risk-based assessments across oil and gas facilities
• Leading technical evaluations and recommending protection strategies for complex industrial systems
• Supporting business development when appropriate, including potential client interface
• Helping to shape internal technical standards and mentoring other engineers

The Person

• Licensed Fire Protection Engineer (PE) in Texas and another state
• Multiple years of experience with at least 5 years focused on fire protection in oil & gas
• Strong understanding of fire hazard analysis
