Qualifications
- BS in Fire Protection Engineering or Architectural Engineering required.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with analysis/design of building fire safety systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and IBC/IFC recommended.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Architect with Code Studies and Life Safety Plans.
- Prepare Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm contract documents under guidance of the Fire Protection Engineer.
- Assist with code reviews.
- Assist Project Architect with egress, construction types, barrier selection and other building attributes.
- Review sprinkler and fire alarm shop drawings.
- Perform other duties as requested or required.
