EwingCole, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Philadelphia office.

You will contribute to code studies, life safety plans, and fire protection documents for sophisticated projects, collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure integrated life-safety solutions. Ideal candidates bring PE credentials, strong CFD/Egress modeling skills, and experience with NFPA/ICC codes, sprinkler design, and BIM software.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering and/or Architectural Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in at least one state.
• Experience in analysis and/or design of fire safety systems.
• Experience with ICC and NFPA 101 code consulting.
• Knowledge of suppression and detection design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit and CFD tools.
• Familiarity with ICC IBC/IFC and NFPA standards.
• Sprinkler design experience and project leadership.

Mansioni

• Prepare Code Studies and Life Safety Plans for complex projects.
• Prepare Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm contract documents.
• Assist with code reviews and site water supply analysis.
• Coordinate egress, construction types, and barrier selection.
• Review sprinkler and fire alarm shop drawings with project teams.
• Support CFD and Egress modeling and reports.
• Lead client and AHJ meetings to resolve code issues.
• Travel regionally, nationally, and internationally as needed.
