Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to support federal construction projects at Fort Hood, Texas. You will serve as the SME for fire and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with UFC 3-600-01, NFPA standards, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities include design reviews, inspections, QA, submittal reviews, acceptance testing, and coordination with project teams across all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of fire protection engineering experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of UFC 3-600-01 and NFPA standards.
• Experience with federal projects and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection design reviews and submittals.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders throughout construction.
• Perform inspections and acceptance testing of fire protection systems.
• Prepare technical reports identifying deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on facility design and safety systems.
• Review RFIs and contractor submittals for compliance.
