We are currently seeking an Entry Level Fire Protection Engineer with 0-4 years of experience to join our Baltimore, MD office.

The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for:

1. Fire protection systems design and specification.
2. Fire alarm and mass notification systems design and specification.
3. Life safety and building code analysis and consulting.
4. Smoke control systems design.
5. Development of performance-based life safety and fire protection features.
6. Contract shop submittal review and field inspections.
7. Interfacing with clients, engineers, and architects of varying technical abilities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from an ABET accredited program (Master's preferred).
2. 0 - 4 years of relevant experience.
3. Basic knowledge of building and NFPA codes.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
5. Willingness to learn CAD software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, and Revit.
6. U.S. Citizenship required.
7. Possession of, or ability to obtain, appropriate security clearance.
8. Willingness to travel lightly.
9. EIT or PE license in Maryland preferred.
