AHA Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Burlington, MA is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our multi-discipline team. You will design fire protection systems, coordinate with MEP disciplines, and serve as a technical expert on complex projects in a collaborative office setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (ABET) with strong NFPA knowledge, at least 7 years in the field, and proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD. Hybrid work options, ESOP, and a clear path to leadership are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related discipline (ABET-accredited).
• Master’s degree in fire protection engineering preferred but not required.
• Fundamentals of Engineering and PE license preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in fire protection/fire alarm engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD; MS Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and complete design layouts for fire alarm and protection systems.
• Prepare studies, scope of work narratives, and due diligence reports.
• Produce sketches and system schematics for complex tasks and zones.
• Perform hydraulic calculations with HydraCalc; know AutoSPRINK/Elite HASS.
• Review shop drawings for contract and code compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project teams.
