Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest. The engineer will oversee both active and passive fire protection design across diverse facility types in the Puget Sound region.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs, evaluating systems, and ensuring NFPA and DoD UFC compliance while coordinating with design teams and government stakeholders. A strong background in fire protection and technical writing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related accredited engineering field.
• Minimum of six years of relevant design or design management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/Revit experience preferred.

Position Summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking Fire Protection Engineers to provide Design Technical Support services for NAVFAC Northwest. The Fire Protection Engineer will support the design and review of active and passive fire protection systems for a wide range of facility types.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).
• Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related accredited engineering field.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant design or design management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fire protection systems for facilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD/Revit experience preferred.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Fire Protection Engineering.
• Experience with NAVFAC or DoD fire protection design criteria.
