W3Global is seeking a creative fire protection engineer to support our Fire Protection Team. The role involves designing fire suppression, detection/alarm and life safety systems, plus field inspections and commissioning.
Responsibilities include coordinating projects, managing scope, schedule and budget, and communicating with architects, contractors, and owners to ensure compliant, safe designs. Travel to projects (15–40%) is expected.

Client is looking for a creative and innovative fire protection engineer to help support our growing Fire Protection Team. The successful candidate will be involved in the design of fire suppression, fire detection/alarm and life safety systems including performing of field construction inspections and acceptance testing.
Additional duties include: meeting and site work attendance; overall management and supervision of projects; ability to market to potential clients; and quality control to ensure designs are in accordance with governing industry codes and standards.
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating, implementing, executing, controlling and completing projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals, by performing core duties and responsibilities listed below. Other duties may be assigned.
The position includes the potential for both stateside and international travel (15% to 40%).
The position will be based out of either the Olathe, Kansas (Kansas City) headquarters or our satellite office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening.
Compensation will be based on ability and experience, and will consist of a competitive salary along with a compensation and incentive program.
