Job summary

SecureTek Solutions in Greenwich, CT is seeking a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to join our hands-on design team. You’ll contribute from concept through construction on a variety of projects, collaborating with architects, other engineers, and clients to deliver reliable, code-compliant systems.

The ideal candidate has 2–10 years of design experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Experience with both new construction and renovation projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience on commercial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, educational, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• PE license or EIT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building types.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing for fire protection systems.
• Prepare construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines.
• Participate in all phases of design, including SD, DD, CD, and CA.
• Assist with project coordination, client communication, and technical problem-solving throughout project delivery.

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a growing MEP consulting engineering firm that's looking to add a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to its expanding team. The firm works on a diverse portfolio of projects including multifamily residential, hospitality, healthcare, K-12, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The Role

We're seeking a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer with 2–10 years of experience who enjoys both design and problem-solving. You'll work on projects from concept through construction, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and clients throughout the design process.

This position is a great fit for:

• A junior or mid-level engineer looking to take on more ownership and expand their responsibilities.
• An experienced designer or engineer who enjoys staying involved in hands-on design while mentoring others and contributing to project success.
