Job summary
Strategic Connections in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Fire Protection Designer (Sprinkler) to design code-compliant fire protection systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. You’ll produce layouts and calculations using CAD, Revit, or similar tools and coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure flawless integration.
You’ll stay current with NFPA and AHJ requirements, review project specs, and contribute to estimating and material selections.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of fire protection design experience (alarm, sprinkler, or both).
- Working knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
- Proficiency with CAD, Revit, and related design software.
- NICET certification is a plus; we’ll support your growth.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Design code-compliant fire alarm or sprinkler systems for various buildings.
- Prepare layouts, calculations, and submittal drawings using CAD, Revit, or similar.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers for integration.
- Stay updated on NFPA, AHJ requirements, and industry standards.
- Review project specs and assist with estimating and material selection.
