The TCBH Security Department is hiring for a Fire Prevention/Security Officer I or II. Duties would include inspection and patrolling of buildings and grounds for elimination of fire hazards; enforcement of laws, rules and regulations; providing assistance to employees or visitors; and performing other duties related to the protection of state property, employees, visitors and others.
Fire Prevention & Security Officer II: Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a basic security and/or firefighter’s course and two years of experience in security or fire prevention and protection work.
Fire Prevention & Security Officer I: Education and Experience requirements at this level are none.

The Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is a psychiatric hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, dedicated to delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centered care. TCBH provides a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that supports recovery and enhances quality of life for individuals and the community. The facility serves adults aged 18 and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis, with or without co‑occurring substance use disorders, and who are medically stable.
In response to the increasing need for mental health services in our community, TCBH is being replaced by a new facility, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center (OPCC). Situated in the OSU Academic Medical District in downtown Tulsa, this modern psychiatric hospital will feature 106 inpatient beds, an expanded residency program, and an enhanced range of behavioral health services. Construction of the OPCC is currently in progress.
Drug and Alcohol Pre‑employment and Pre‑placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
