Johnson Controls in Tri-Cities, WA, is seeking a skilled technician to perform inspection and service work on fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, and life safety systems. You will protect people and property while delivering outstanding service.

The role requires 4+ years in low-voltage systems, strong diagnostic skills, and experience with building systems, blueprints, and technical manuals. A valid driver's license and relevant licenses are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with low-voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience reading blueprints, submittals, wiring diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, maintenance and preventative service on life safety systems.
• Inspect electrical, sprinkler and suppression systems and complete service documentation.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; provide reports and sign-offs.
• Support junior inspectors and participate in on-call rotations.
• Provide recommendations for repairs and upgrades.
