Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire & Sprinkler Inspection / Service Technician in the Tri-Cities, WA area. You will perform inspections and service on fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems, document findings, and support on-call coverage.

Prior experience with low-voltage life-safety systems and blueprints is required. The role involves lifting requirements, driving a company vehicle where applicable, and working in industrial settings with potential evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with low-voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to lift 50–70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, and life safety systems; document work on mobile devices.
• Respond to service calls, diagnose issues, repair, program, and test systems; provide quotes for upgrades.
