Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Project Manager to oversee fire alarm, security, communications, and sprinkler installation projects across commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities. You will manage design, permits, materials, labor schedules, and field installation from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to codes and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field and 5+ years of project management in related areas, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field.
Five years fire protection, construction, alarm/detection, or related project management experience.
Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments with deadlines.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, internal and external customers.
Must have MS Excel skills, able to create tracking spreadsheets and macros.
Must be organized, detail oriented and self-motivating.
Must travel at least 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Manage fire alarm, security, communications, and sprinkler installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities.
