Job summary

Nine Orchard in New York City seeks a seasoned security leader to oversee day-to-day security operations and Fire Life Safety compliance. You will coordinate certifications, inspections, and drills, ensuring strict adherence to FDNY and Local Law requirements.

As the lead for FSEAP and collaboration with authorities, you will manage third‑party vendors, security tech, and incident investigations while guiding staff training and safety culture across the property.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years in hotel, commercial, or residential building security/safety management with Fire Life Safety responsibility.
• Working knowledge of NYC Fire Code, FDNY regulations, and Local Law requirements.
• Hands-on experience managing third‑party contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day security operations and incident response.
• Lead Fire Life Safety compliance, certifications, permits, and inspections.
• Maintain Fire Safety and Emergency Action Plan, conduct drills and training.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services for rapid response.
• Manage security technologies including CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
