Qualifications

• Valid NYS Fire Life Safety Director Certification (F‑89) – Required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License – Required.
• Minimum 1 year of fire life safety or building security experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Fire Life & Safety Director, ensuring FDNY compliance.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinating response as needed.
• Monitor fire life safety systems, access control, CCTV, and alarms.
• Inspect post areas, safety equipment, and security systems.
• Review memos and alerts to stay informed on conditions.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and incident docs.
• Communicate incidents or deficiencies to leadership and desks.
• Maintain professionalism and situational awareness at all times.
