Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Certified and trained to national Fire Inspector standards.
• FEMA Certification ISO700.b, ISO100.c.
• 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• Alarm panel experience; preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients through security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Ensure inspection and maintenance records for fire protection equipment comply with standards.
• Audit fire prevention and safety programs.
• Complete scheduled fire service inspections as assigned.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate with supervisors and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols noting unusual activity.
