Job summary

Royale Company seeks a dedicated Fire & Life Safety Officer for a Manhattan building, Monday–Friday shifts with no weekends or holidays. You will monitor alarms, coordinate with FDNY, lead evacuations, and maintain logs to stay FDNY-compliant.

The role offers a steady schedule, paid training, uniform provided, and paid vacation/sick days; background check at our cost. A valid FDNY F-89/T-89 certificate is required.

Qualifications

• A current FDNY F-89 or T-89 Certificate of Fitness is required.
• Calm, clear judgment in an emergency.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the fire alarm system.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, and coordinate with FDNY on scene.
• Oversee fire safety and evacuation procedures, and run fire drills.
• Keep test and inspection logs up to date and ensure FDNY compliance.
• Keep tenants, visitors and building staff safe and informed.
