In this branch leadership role, you will guide installation execution, support technicians, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. The Fire Installation Department Supervisor is a self-motivated, results-driven leader responsible for the successful execution of fire alarm and electronic installation projects within the branch. You will balance customer commitments, safety, productivity, and financial performance while leading and developing a team of installation professionals.
This role serves as the installation business leader for the branch. You will oversee people, materials, schedules, and processes to make sure projects are completed in line with approved designs, applicable codes, and Johnson Controls quality standards. Success in this role depends on strong leadership, sound judgment, clear communication, and consistent follow-through in the field and with customers.

Stay close to the work by confirming schedules with customers, coordinating directly with project coordinators, and removing obstacles before they affect delivery.

Win as one team by collaborating with sales, project coordinators, technicians, and customers to keep execution aligned.
Read and interpret building plans, electrical drawings, and specifications to support field decisions and commissioning outcomes.
Test installed systems, support approval from the local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and verify compliance with corporate EHS and regulatory expectations.
Provide after-hours guidance that helps technicians solve issues quickly and maintain strong customer relationships.
Support technician success through daily direction, independent judgment, and consistent feedback that reinforces quality and productivity.
$76,100 - 104,600 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
