Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of foods: meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, & cold food items.
  • Take full responsibility for the quality of the dishes served.
  • Consistently follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies/procedures.
  • Follow proper plate presentation & garnish setup for all dishes.
  • Stock & maintain sufficient food levels at line stations for smooth service.
  • Keep work area clean and sanitary at all times.
  • Use safe & hygienic food handling practices.
  • Properly handle, store, and rotate products.
  • Assist with food prep as needed.
  • Close the kitchen following all checklists provided by the Executive Chef.
  • Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front-of-house staff.
  • Assist in various areas of the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef/Executive Chef.
Qualifications

Requirements

Excellent communication, guest service, and time management skills.

Ability to organize, plan ahead, and manage workload effectively.

Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.

Dependable, energetic, and previous line cook experience required.

Culinary degree preferred.

Flexible scheduling based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

Constant standing and walking; frequent head turning, bending, reaching, handling, and grasping. Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Must pass a physical exam prior to employment.
