Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking a Fire Extinguisher / Range Hood Technician to inspect, test, service, and install portable fire safety equipment and kitchen suppression systems. You will ensure compliance with NFPA standards and safety requirements while supporting a broad portfolio of life safety solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a fire extinguisher or range hood technician.
• Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal regulations including NFPA.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems including extinguishers and range hood systems.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, and/or install portable fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, emergency lights, exit lights, range hoods and related equipment per fire codes.
• Maintain risk management and safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
