VSC Fire & Security in Mobile, Alabama is seeking candidates for the position of Fire Extinguisher / Range Hood Technician. You will inspect, test, service, and install portable extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems in accordance with fire codes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a fire extinguisher or range hood technician.
• Knowledge of fire protection industry and NFPA/fire codes.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Reliable transportation and valid state driver’s license for company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, and install portable extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, emergency lights, exit lights, range hoods and related fire safety equipment per fire codes.
• Maintain risk management and safety procedures on all job sites as per company policy.
