Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a fire investigator in public and private sectors.
IAAI CFI required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
NAFI-CFEI certification preferred.
Must be bondable and eligible for licensing as a private investigator.
Responsibilities
Investigates and analyzes fire and explosion events.
Collects evidence and documents scenes per NFPA 921 & 1033.
Prepares accurate, clear, and concise reports for clients.
Maintains relationships with current clients and consultants.
