Job summary

Tech People is seeking 2x Fire Door Joiners for a short-term project in York. Start date 28/09/2026, duration two weeks, hours 08:00-17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, paid hours 8.5 per day at £33.00 per hour. Free parking available on site.

On-site duties include installing doorsets, fitting architraves and ironmongery, and adding linings where required. You must hold a Blue CSCS Card and have fire door joinery experience, with a strong attention to detail and reliability to meet daily

Qualifications

Blue CSCS Card is required.
Fire door joinery experience is required.
Full PPE must be worn on site.
Ability to work efficiently to meet daily installation targets.

Responsibilities

Install doorsets into newly formed openings.
Fit architraves and ironmongery on site.
Install linings to reveals as required.
Ensure work meets site requirements and high standards.
Aim to fit a minimum of 3 doors per day.

Duties & Responsibilities

Installing new doorsets into newly formed openings

Installing separate linings to reveals where required
Linings can be fitted as part of the doorset or by a separate joiner
Working to a minimum target of 3 doors fitted per day
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with site requirements
