Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Joiner for a shop fit-out project in York, starting 21/09/2026. The assignment runs for 4 weeks with shifts seven days a week, roughly 12 hours daily, on a 23–25 GBP/hour DOE basis.

The role requires CSCS and proven joinery experience, including commercial shop-fit-out work. You will work from drawings and maintain a safe, organized site.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is essential.
• Proven experience as a Joiner.
• Previous commercial/shop fit-out experience preferred.
• Own tools required.
• Reliable and hard-working.
• Able to commit to 7 days per week.
• Good attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Install internal doors and door frames.
• Fit architraves.
• Install pre-built counters.
• Conduct general 2nd fix joinery.
• Assist with other joinery aspects of the shop fit-out.
• Work from drawings and site instructions as required.

Rate: 23- 25 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 7 days per week,12 hours per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to work on a shop fit-out project in York, starting 21st September 2026.

This is a 4-week project offering consistent work, with shifts running 7 days a week and approximately 9-10 hours per day.

Duties

• Installing internal doors and door frames
• Fitting architraves
• Installing pre-built counters
• General 2nd fix joinery
• Assisting with other joinery aspects of the shop fit-out
• Working from drawings and site instructions where required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area

Requirements
