Job summary

Tech People is seeking 2x Fire Door Joiners for a short-term project in York. Start date 28/09/2026, duration two weeks, hours 08:00-17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, paid hours 8.5 per day at £33.00 per hour. Free parking available on site.

On-site duties include installing doorsets, fitting architraves and ironmongery, and adding linings where required. You must hold a Blue CSCS Card and have fire door joinery experience, with a strong attention to detail and reliability to meet daily

Qualifications

• Blue CSCS Card is required.
• Fire door joinery experience is required.
• Full PPE must be worn on site.
• Ability to work efficiently to meet daily installation targets.

Responsibilities

• Install doorsets into newly formed openings.
• Fit architraves and ironmongery on site.
• Install linings to reveals as required.
• Ensure work meets site requirements and high standards.
• Aim to fit a minimum of 3 doors per day.
