The City of Haines City seeks a Captain of Support Services to lead administrative, logistical, and training functions for the Fire Department. You will supervise staff, coordinate programs, and ensure readiness of equipment and resources to support emergency response operations.

The role requires Florida Firefighter II, EMT, and Officer I certifications, plus at least seven years in firefighting with supervisory experience.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Florida Firefighter II Certification.
• Florida EMT License/Certification.
• Pump Operator Certificate of Competency.
• Fire Officer I Certificate of Competency.
• 7+ years of full-time firefighting experience, incl. 2+ years supervisory.
• Ability to track program performance and expenditures.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and oversees assigned support services programs and resources.
• Maintains accountability for equipment, supplies, and records.
• Coordinates procurement, distribution, tracking, and replacement of equipment and PPE.
• Coordinates training programs, certifications, and training records.
• Assists in developing and implementing department policies and SOPs.
• Monitors records and compliance requirements for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assists with operational reports, budget requests, and equipment replacement plans.
• Coordinates with City departments, vendors, and outside agencies.
