Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians for several contract-to-perm opportunities. Candidates will assist with the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of all aspects of low voltage fire alarm systems. We are looking for individuals who pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will, under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem-solving mindset while working as a team player and must have experience with the following:

• 5+ years of experience with the full lifecycle installation of various fire alarm devices and systems related to fire safety, preferably in retail environments.
• Industry certifications such as NICET, Fire-lite, Honeywell, EST, Notifier, or others are highly desired.
• Ability to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables.
• Knowledge of proper fire stopping procedures when necessary.
• Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) related to the fire safety industry.
• CCTV, Voice, and Data cabling experience is a plus.

Must possess:

• A valid driver’s license.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent (Vocational/Technical/Business School preferred).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
