Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician Trainee. The primary function of this role is to have an interest in becoming an Alarm Technician and gain knowledge and experience in training with Alarm Technicians. This candidate will also have to eventually obtain their Ohio Fire Alarm license and NICET I Certification.

This is a three-year training program position that requires travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
• Strong background in electronics or similar experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Able to lift equipment and tools up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Train with Alarm Technicians on basic installations.
• Develop understanding of device operation and proper installation.
• Attend fire alarm classes through Nafed or AFAA.
• Complete training modules in a timely manner.
• Learn installing, troubleshooting, and programming fire alarm systems.
