Job summary

Wiginton Corp is seeking qualified Fire Alarm Technicians for its Tampa office. Candidates will be responsible for programming and installing fire alarm systems and ensuring compliance with safety codes.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and NICET certifications are preferred. The position offers substantial benefits, including employee-ownership, health insurance, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in servicing and inspecting fire alarm systems and panels.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean background and driving history.
• NICET Certifications in fire alarm systems & FASA / BASA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems.
• Test all features and equipment to ensure optimum functioning.
• Perform inspections and diagnose any problems.

Skills

Experience in servicing fire alarm systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two-year Associate Degree in electrical/electronics
