Job summary

Convergint is hiring a full-time Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, perform system start-up and testing, and train customers on fire alarm and life-safety systems. You will document work and support complex projects, contributing to a customer-first service culture.

You will interpret drawings, troubleshoot, and coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure code compliance and on-time completion. A strong safety mindset and ongoing professional growth are expected.

Qualifications

• NICET Level II - Fire Alarm Systems.
• 6+ years relevant field service experience.
• EST4 Certification.
• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service fire alarm and life safety systems as assigned.
• Read and interpret architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Commission new systems, write routine programs, and provide customer training and documentation.
