Job summary

SoarElite in Pocatello, ID seeks an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, inspect and troubleshoot fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial clients across the region.

You will read blueprints and wiring diagrams, perform NFPA-compliant tests, and work with contractors and customers to ensure reliable protection. Travel is required; occasional overnight stays may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire alarm or low-voltage experience
• NICET Level I or higher
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

This is a full-time position supporting the installation, service, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial customers throughout the region.
