Job summary

Pavion is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician in Davie, FL to service, troubleshoot, and program fire alarm, burglar alarm, CCTV, and access control systems. The role requires on-site work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

NICET or related certifications are preferred. Responsibilities include ensuring system functionality, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with the manager to complete work orders.

Qualifications

Knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Florida Building Code
Proficient with basic computer/tablet tools
Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
Ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) and climb ladders
Experience servicing fire alarm systems or NICET II preferred

Responsibilities

Service, troubleshoot & program burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
Ensure equipment is functional and operational
Diagnose causes of problems or failures for repair
Replace system components as assigned (panels, alarms, etc.)
Provide technical support to customers including remote diagnosis
Interact professionally with customers
Coordinate with manager for service/work orders
Inform dispatcher/manager of status to take action
Test and inspect fire alarm systems
Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment
