Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Journeyman Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, test, and maintain life-safety systems at Centennial, CO—on-site. You will work from engineering drawings and local codes under a Project Foreman.

Responsibilities include panel programming, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. Requires NICET II, experience with commercial/industrial systems, and knowledge of NFPA 72; licensing preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with install, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and related codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals for fire alarm equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• NICET II certification required.

Job Summary

The Fire Alarm Technician will perform installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and system checkout activities of fire alarm and critical life safety systems. Work is performed in accordance with local codes, company procedures, and engineering drawings.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Installation of fire alarm systems — addressable and conventional
• Inspection, testing, and service of existing systems
• Commercial and multifamily new construction rough-in and trim
• Troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning systems
• Documentation, panel programming, and as-built updates

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Required

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings or directly related experience
• Solid understanding of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and relevant building and fire codes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for fire alarm equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• NICET II certification

Preferred

• State or local fire alarm licensing where applicable
