Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to install and lead electrical field work, coordinating service projects on site with journeyman electricians. The role requires planning to ensure materials, tools, and information are ready on site or in the service van ahead of time, and providing leadership and customer service.

You will plan tasks, supervise a small crew when needed, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years field work or completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship program.
Excellent understanding of the electrical industry.
High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and flexible to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment.

Responsibilities

Make general written estimates of time, materials, and manpower required to complete service tasks.

Job Summary

The electrical service technician is responsible for installing high‑quality electrical field work and taking measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency. The technician also installs and coordinates all types of service projects, performing installations independently or managing and working with journeyman and apprentice electricians. He/she provides leadership and technical guidance while maintaining customer service. The technician plans and coordinates work, ensuring necessary materials, tools, equipment, and job information are ready on site or in the service van ahead of time.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Outside most of the time. Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures, limited working surfaces, noise above 85 decibels, intense odors, areas with limited visibility. May involve climbing stairs and ladders to access trenches or elevated platforms (scaffolding). Lifting equipment and materials 1–50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly. Driving may be required; a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability are required, and drivers are subject to a DMV background search.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
