Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician Journeyman in Centennial, CO, to install, inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and checkout fire alarm and life-safety systems on-site. You will work per local codes, company procedures, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities include installing addressable and conventional systems, performing inspections, tests, and service, and updating documentation. Prior NFPA 72 knowledge and NICET II certification are required; licensing is preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial/industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable building codes.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Proficient troubleshooting to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
  • NICET II certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Install addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
  • Inspect, test, and service existing systems.
  • Perform rough-in and trim for commercial/multifamily projects.
  • Document system programming and as-built updates.
  • Collaborate with Project Foreman and field team.

Job Summary

The Fire Alarm Technician will perform installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and system checkout activities of fire alarm and critical life safety systems. Work is performed in accordance with local codes, company procedures, and engineering drawings.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Installation of fire alarm systems - addressable and conventional
  • Inspection, testing, and service of existing systems
  • Commercial and multifamily new construction rough-in and trim
  • Troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning systems
  • Documentation, panel programming, and as-built updates

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Required
Minimum Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings or directly related experience
  • Solid understanding of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and relevant building and fire codes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for fire alarm equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • NICET II certification
Preferred
  • State or local fire alarm licensing where applicable
