Job description

Palmetto Automatic Sprinkler Co, LLC, an APi Group Life Safety USA company, has over 50 years of experience in the fire suppression industry and has expanded its footprint to serve customers throughout the Southeast.

PASCO services all aspects of life safety and we are in need of a Fire Alarm Technician/Inspector to join our team! This position will primarily perform inspections of fire protection systems, and as deficiencies are found, service and repair fire alarm and security wiring as well as various other low voltage equipment (CCTV, Access Controls, Security systems, etc).

Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections on, install and program new fire alarms, security systems, and access control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm, security systems, access controls and security camera systems.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all systems.
  • Monitor inventory of service parts on your company vehicle.
  • Once familiar with PASCO expectations, technicians will be required to participate in a rotating on call schedule and respond in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience preferred in fire alarm, sprinkler systems, security systems, access control and cameras
  • Familiarity with hand/ power tools, uploading/downloading/programming.
  • NICET certification, and North Carolina fire alarmand/or sprinklerins pector certification preferably
  • Ability to work in confined space is necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting, computer and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Background check & drug screen required
  • Some travel will be required based on job site location and training requirements
