Copper River Technologies is seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Mechanic to install, inspect, test, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems for NAVFAC MIDLANT. You will diagnose issues, maintain documentation, and provide guidance to junior staff in a hands-on, on-site role.

The position requires journeyman-level experience with electrical/electronic systems, NICET or equivalent credentials, and knowledge of NEC and schematics. Valid driver’s license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license.
• NICET or comparable fire alarm credential or journeyman training.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Journeyman-level experience in electrical/electronic or fire alarm systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic systems.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems and maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Install, inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Work with master fire alarm systems, control panels, annunciators, devices, and detectors.
• Diagnose faults using schematics and manufacturer docs.
• Perform functional and operational testing of systems.
• Identify and repair wiring, circuits, and panel issues.
• Replace defective detectors and components.
• Maintain system drawings and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with facility personnel to resolve issues.
• Provide guidance to trainees and respond to after-hours calls.
