Job summary

Alutiiq Logistics and Maintenance Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Systems Mechanic to install, maintain, repair, and inspect fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards and manufacturer specs. The role requires independent work and team collaboration in DC-area facilities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical training or certification in fire alarm systems preferred.
Experience with multiple fire alarm brands is a plus.
Must possess a valid driver's license and U.S. citizenship.
Current TS/SCI clearance is required / pursuit possible.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair, and inspect fire alarm systems per NFPA and manufacturer specs.
Perform routine maintenance and test components like sensors and wiring.
Inspect equipment and replace defective parts to ensure operability.
Document installations, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Respond to service orders promptly and restore systems to operational status.
Coordinate with team and comply with safety regulations.
