Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an In-Person Fire Alarm Install Technician in Lubbock, TX. You will independently install fire alarm systems, interpret blueprints, and perform testing per codes and company standards.

The role requires a Texas FAL license and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with NICET preferred. Travel to job sites and training opportunities are available to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Texas Fire Alarm License - FAL required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with fire alarm systems.
• NICET certification preferred (requires prior experience or training).
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently install fire alarm systems per plans, specifications, and codes.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform system testing and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with team members, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
