Job description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical field support and service to our customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, conducting on-site installations and repairs, as well as ongoing training for customer personnel.

As your employer, we offer an advancement plan, and we will subsidize 82.5% of the cost of your medical benefits. Other benefits are available for purchase by the employee, such as vision and dental. New hires receive 15 days of PTO to start beginning January 1, prorated prior to January 1. PTO increases with years of service. Employees are paid for 10 company holidays. The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for the following:

• Coordinate with contractors during the installation of fire alarm systems sold by our company.
• Perform system commissioning on fire alarm systems, including loading software and implementing modifications as necessary.
• Conduct testing and inspections of fire alarm systems under maintenance agreements.
• Troubleshoot and repair network hardware and software issues.
• Identify code and non-conformance issues.
• Make recommendations regarding system installations and service contracts.
• Generate detailed daily reports using company software on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or materials.
• Support emergency on-call assignments based on a rotational schedule.
• Support 2nd and 3rd shift work.

Compensation details: $24-$40 hourly wage.
