Job description

Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at our Georgia office. In this role, you will provide technical field support and service to our customers, including troubleshooting, on-site installations, repairs, and ongoing training for customer personnel. We offer an advancement plan and subsidize 82.5% of your medical benefits. Additional benefits such as vision, dental, and life insurance are available for purchase. New hires receive 15 days of PTO starting January 1, prorated based on hire date, with PTO increasing with years of service. Employees are also paid for 10 company holidays.

The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for:

  1. Coordinating with contractors during fire alarm system installations.
  2. Performing system commissioning, including software loading and modifications.
  3. Conducting testing and inspections of fire alarm systems under maintenance agreements.
  4. Troubleshooting and repairing network hardware and software issues.
  5. Identifying code and non-conformance issues.
  6. Recommending system installation and service contract improvements.
  7. Generating detailed daily activity reports using company software.
  8. Supporting emergency on-call assignments.
  9. Supporting 2nd and 3rd shift work.

Compensation: $24 - $40 hourly wage
