Job summary

HCI Systems Inc. is seeking skilled Fire Alarm Installers and Technicians to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. You will install, troubleshoot, and commission low voltage fire life safety systems in medium to large commercial buildings.

The role requires interpreting blueprints, coordinating with trades, and delivering projects on time with high customer satisfaction. NICET or state licensing is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills with customers and teams.
• Regular, reliable attendance is expected.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 75 lbs).
• Experience with low voltage/fire life safety systems is a plus; NICET/state license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install fire life safety and other low voltage systems in commercial buildings.
• Execute installation project plan including equipment delivery, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with other trades to optimize installation time.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specs.
• Identify out of scope requests and notify management of changes.
• Assist customers on site with questions and concerns in a timely manner.
• Communicate project status to management and complete required paperwork.
