Job summary
Aero Automatic Sprinkler Company in Denver is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems.
You will work with cutting-edge technology and industry standards, handle low-voltage wiring, read plans, and respond to service calls, including occasional after-hours emergencies.
The role offers overtime opportunities, ongoing training, and a path to NICET certification.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in Fire Protection/Life Safety industry.
- Hands-on experience with fire detection systems (VESDA, FM200).
- Strong knowledge of fire alarms, access control, and security systems.
- Proficient in low-voltage wiring and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with National Fire Alarm Code.
- Ability to read and interpret system design plans and construction drawings.
Responsibilities
- Install new fire alarm systems and components.
- Inspect and test systems for code compliance.
- Identify and implement corrective actions to meet standards.
- Modify and repair existing alarm and detection systems.
- Respond to service calls, including occasional emergencies.
- Attend training to stay current on fire codes and technologies.
- Estimate time, materials, and resources for projects.
- Review and inspect work for plans and specifications.
