Impact Fire Services in Worcester, MA is hiring a Fire Alarm Systems Technician to service, install, and troubleshoot low‑voltage fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 72 and local codes. The role offers a $3,000 sign‑on bonus based on experience and includes ongoing licensing support.

The position requires MA Class D license or Journeyman, fire alarm experience, strong wiring knowledge, and the ability to work in a team. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Class D or Journeyman license required.
• Fire alarm experience required; with working knowledge of NFPA 72.
• Strong understanding of wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
• Experience in bending and installing conduit is preferred.
• Ability to participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with iPhone/iPad applications.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of low‑voltage fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72, as well as state and local requirements.
• Meet weekly productivity goals established by the Fire Alarm Service Manager.
• Complete administrative tasks including service acknowledgements, NFPA record‑of‑completion documents, and other NFPA 72 documentations.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain required state licensing.
• Protect, maintain, and properly use company‑issued tools and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including safe driving practices, PPE requirements, and lockout/tag‑out policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked service vehicle in accordance with company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Fire Alarm Service Manager.

Fire Alarm Class D – Fire Alarm Systems Technician

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts Area

Position Summary

This position reports directly to the Fire Alarm Service Manager or their designated representative. The technician is responsible for servicing and installing a wide range of low‑voltage fire alarm systems and related components. All work must be performed efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards.

$3,000 Sign-On-Bonus based on experience!!!
