Job summary

Impact Fire Services is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our field team and deliver high-quality fire protection services. You will troubleshoot, program, inspect NFPA 72 systems, and repair alarms while maintaining excellent customer service.

This position offers apprenticeship pathways, licensing support, and opportunities for career advancement within a fast-growing national fire protection company, with ongoing training and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years related fire alarm or low voltage experience.
• OSHA Safety Training (Preferred)
• NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Inspection and Testing and/ or ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• The Fire Alarm Technician will deliver quality products and services meeting customer and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot, program, NFPA 72 inspections, and repair of fire alarm systems.
• Provide strong customer service; communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Represent the company professionally in speech, writing, and appearance.
• Utilize computer tools (Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, Inspect Point, Service Trade) to support field work.

The Fire Alarm Technician is to deliver quality products and services which meet or exceed the customer's and industry standards, and to achieve customer satisfaction through a unified commitment to job competency and unsurpassed service.

Job Responsibilities:

• We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician Person who is looking for an opportunity for advancement and willing to work in the field.

• Candidates should have a good working knowledge of troubleshooting, programming, NFPA 72 inspections, and/or repairing of fire alarm systems.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Mechanical skills and aptitude.

• Demonstrate problem-solving skills.

• Represent the company in a professional, credible manner in speech, written communications and appearance.

• Proficient computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, Inspect Point, Service Trade.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years related fire alarm or low voltage experience.

• OSHA Safety Training (Preferred)

Licensing:

• NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Inspection and Testing and/ or ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 is a plus. Must be able to work well within a Team Oriented Environment.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
